Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU), established in 1932 in Ufa, Russia, stands as one of the leading medical institutions in the country. Initially launched with a faculty of General Medicine, the university has since expanded to include several other departments such as Pediatrics, Preventive Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Microbiology. In 2010, Bashkir State Medical University merged with Ufa Medical University, further strengthening its academic foundation and medical offerings.
