The Siberian State Medical University holds a prominent place among the 3 superior most medical schools in Russia on the top of this; it is listed among the top 30 higher educational institutions in Russia. It even possesses a brilliant faculty, out of which 80% are scientific scholars who hold academic titles (375 MDs, DMedSci). For the past years, more than 60,000 students have graduated from this university as doctors and physicians. Also, 40,000 doctors have been certified as specialists by this university.

However, for the Indian students, there is also this facility of cooking their own food in the Indian mess at Siberian State Medical University.
